De slanke Nokia E71 is een uitgebreide smartphone die eenvoudig toegang biedt tot diverse e-mailoplossingen. Van zakelijke Exchange mailboxen tot persoonlijk Hotmail- of Gmail-accounts worden standaard ondersteund. Met zijn complete qwertytoetsenbord is het intypen van een bericht een fluitje van een cent. Door de snelle 3G-verbinding gaat het ophalen van e-mails en het surfen op het net razendsnel. Ook bijlagen, zoals Word, Ecel of PDF-bestanden kunnen bekeken worden. Naast e-mail en informatiebeheer biedt de E71 ook ondersteuning voor verschillende navigatie- en multimediatoepassingen. Met de ingebouwde gps-ontvanger en de meegeleverde Nokia Maps navigatiesoftware hoef je nooit meer te verdwalen. Voor foto’s en filmpjes heeft de E71 een 3.2 megapixel camera aan boord en voor ontspanning een uitgebreide muziekspeler. Het interne geheugen is uit te breiden tot maar liefst 8GB.
